REGIONAL SALES MANAGER – Nationwide Accounts

GENERAL PURPOSE

Looking for people with high energy and who crave running their own business from home!!!  Plus, you have to have fun and be fun!!!  The job itself will be to actively pursue new accounts, generate new business, effectively manage current accounts which include fostering account relationships and grow with our partners which includes integrators and our manufacturer partners.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Actively pursue new business; confer with potential customers regarding services, solutions and product needs
  • Qualify prospects to determine overall viability and sales potential
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and up-to-date customer information in CRM tool
  • Effectively present (strategic account) information to executive management
  • Effectively manage existing customer relationships while seeking opportunity to increase revenue
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key players/decision makers to ensure retention
  • Drive strategic initiatives into customer / prospect base
  • Collaborate with Supplier partners to build business
  • Participate in industry trade shows and conferences
  • Update KPIs and goals on a weekly basis
  • Work in team sales environment
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Demonstrate core values of the organization
  • Participate in all sales trainings, webinars and meetings
  • Stay up to date on industry news, trends, etc.
  • Have fun!!!

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of CRM tools
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Prefer people with AV experience
  • PC proficient (MS Office, e-mail, etc.)
  • Moderate technical / product knowledge in the ProAV industry
  • Proven ability to understand and practice value added selling
  • Experience & Success in selling to owners & upper levels of management
  • General financial business literacy and familiarity with terminology
  • Ability to operate/work in a high growth & entrepreneurial environment
  • Motivated, enthusiastic self-starter who desires success
  • Demonstrated ability to be customer focused and responsive to questions and needs
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at one time
  • Excellent project management and planning skills, while providing high attention to details
  • Must possess high degree of integrity and ability to handle confidential information

   Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to provide for productive home office working environment
  • Must be available for long, varied work hours at times
  • Must be able to travel 50% more or less

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using SalesForce.com CRM tool is a plus
  • AV experience is a plus
