Yes. With LaborFlex, you only pay for the time worked. For example, if a technician works just 3 hours, you’re only billed for those 3 hours—saving you hundreds compared to flat day rates (including Herman’s Integration Services’ day rate).

1. Log into Field Nation and create a work order with key details from your purchase order, including location, scope, number of techs, and duration.
2. Herman assigns the request to a vetted AV Service Company in your market.
3. You receive real-time updates from assignment to job completion.
4. Review and approve the work order for payment. Field Nation handles the rest.

All LaborFlex work orders are assigned within one business day, and technicians can be on-site as soon as the next business day.

You will receive real-time notifications at key milestones:

• When the work order is assigned
• When the technician confirms 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the work

When you use LaborFlex, we work to get you the best possible rate based on your job’s needs. In some cases, you might see a 10% estimated fee during the quote stage—this is only an estimate as we establish a do-not-exceed (DNE) amount so you can secure a PO.

That quote includes everything: technician time, platform access, and any partner support needed to fulfill the work. Once we source a tech and finalize the work order, that rate is adjusted to reflect the actual time on site—so you often end up paying less than the quoted amount.
